Once a four-family home, Dixon Projects has given this classic brownstone a new lease on life as a single-family stunner. Many of the home’s original features were maintained while incorporating contemporary 21st century amenities. Intricate and distinctive casings were restored and replicated across all parlour floor doors and windows. At the rear of the parlour floor, the Projects team created an open flow between dining space and kitchen, enforcing its position as the primary “hub” of the house. The new space features an eat-in island with tons of storage and a huge (fully opening) Nanawall glass door.
The second floor of the home has been dedicated to a master suite with its own private rooftop terrace and “his and hers” closets. A new master bath boasts a large steam shower and double vanity. After combining all these elements, the Dixon Projects team ended up with a luxurious single-family home that hasn’t lost its traditional roots and classic style.
