When the Fund acquired this home on Halladay Street it was a blank canvas awaiting the Dixon Projects team’s expertise. The home received a full-gut renovation, but not after overcoming a large challenge. Because the home was in a redevelopment area, the Projects team was required to present their plans to a committee in order to get the scope of work approved. The team worked diligently and ultimately achieved a successful outcome.
The result of careful planning left a gorgeous and unique renovation. The Projects team installed a bright yellow door, giving this home a pop of color and boosting its curb appeal. A wood deck off the kitchen features a custom-made spiral staircase that leads down to the lower patio area and storage shed, thus creating a bi-level outdoor space. The kitchen was outfitted with brand-new Whirlpool appliances, custom built-in shelving and a large central island for additional storage. Other desirable amenities include a Whirlpool washer and dryer with touch controls, large closets with built-in organisers and gleaming hardwood floors throughout.
